Addison's Horse Camp

Addison attended horse camp this past week for 3 days at Ride with Pride in Southlake. It was like Christmas morning everyday... She had a blast! Addison's little friend Adrienne went also, they both had fun and made tons of memories. The camp was fantastic I highly recommend it for any kids interested in horse riding.

Addison had tons of fun... Fishing, crafts, snow cones, cleaning the barn, played with chickens, and of course riding and taking care of her horses. Her favorite horse was Pup and Dollie, they even had a Rodeo on Wednesday night where we got to watch her ride Pup. She won 1st place in her division and received an award "Spirit of the Cowgirl".

Addison has also decided we need to move... she informed Nick we needed a bigger backyard for a barn and her horse. And that she was asking Santa Clause for her own riding helmet b/c she was going back next summer :)

~ 11 Months ~

Our little love bugs turned 11 months this past Friday. And we are in full party planning mode... They will be ONE in 25 days! Time is flying, but we are enjoying every minute.

At 11 months the twins are :

* Completely eating table food... no more baby food :( But they love it all! Macaroni and Cheese is by far their favorite and any type of pasta. And banana's make them very happy too. Every meal is still a mess though, hopefully with time it won't be such a mess.
*Both girls have 6 teeth :)
*Kinley's favorite word to say is "Ohhh" and her only word to say or repeat.
* Brooklyn... our little bear just likes to baby talk and still GROWL...
* Both girls are standing freely and able to just stand up for period of times without holding on. We just need to add steps.
* They love their little Pottery Barn chairs Mimi and Pop-Pop got them.

4th of July Celebration

We have a great, fun and busy 4th of July Week. The twins got to join us this year and were such troopers staying up late for the fireworks. Every year Southlake puts on a Firework show in the town square and for the last 4 years we have gone. It's tons of fun for the kids and the actual firework show is great. We had a big group this year and it was a BLAST.....

On the 4th we enjoyed an evening at the Tennyson's house.... another fun night with great friends, food and fireworks. Trophy Club had a great firework show and even better we could see them from the front yard. The twins were party girls again and made it through the fireworks... they actually really enjoyed watching them.

Needless to say we had our fair share of Fireworks, on Friday night we went to the Ranger game and enjoyed the fireworks after the game. The twins spent the evening with Mimi and Pop Pop and we headed off to the game with friends and had a great time.

Soccer

Addison's soccer season just ended and she did AWESOME! Scored some goals and became a great defender. This season she got to play with her two favorite gal pals Adrienne and Faith. It was so fun watching them, Addison really loved having them on her team.

~ 10 Months ~

Our little love bugs turned 10 Months on Wednesday!! It still blows my mind how fast this first year is going. The Birthday party planning has begun :)

At 10 months the twins are :

* Basically eating all table foods, with small amounts of baby food. Some of their favorites are Chick-Fil-A nuggets, green beans, peas, strawberries, banana's, Yogurt, Cheerios. The list goes on....
* Brooklyn has 5 teeth as of today!
* Kinley has 3 with 2 more almost thru!
* They love playing in Big sister's room
* They LOVE the water and playing in the pool :)
*Kinley is getting really good at free standing (I think she may be the first to walk) Brooklyn is starting to but still hesitant
* Lots of giggling... Sneezing makes them laugh hard
* Giving kisses

Seriously?? They make me SMILE so big :)

Addison's Pre-K Graduation and Last Day of School

Our little Addison graduated preschool last week, very bittersweet moment. I actually held myself together at the graduation, but the last day of school was a different story. Addison, went to HCP for two years and was lucky to have the same teachers both years. So of course, she was attached and so was I. We were truly blessed to have Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Teri, I can not thank them enough! We are going to miss them dearly, but Addison is READY for Kindergarten.

Like I said, the last day of school was a tough one. I will have so many memories of Addison at HCP. She made so many friends, learned so so much and really went from a little girl to a big girl in those two years. The last day of school is always so fun for the kids... the teachers planned a fun picnic, filled with all kinds of treats. Addison gave lots of hugs to teachers and friends as we said goodbye to them all. She has made some lifelong friends and so have I.

 Now we can enjoy our SUMMER!! I know the next 2 months are going to fly by, and she will be off to her first day of Kindergarten.



~9 Months~

Our sweet little Love bugs turned 9 months old on Sunday. They are so fun, each month their personality shines more and more.

At 9 Months Kinley and Brooklyn are:

• Very mobile, they love being down on the floor, crawling and climbing on everything
• They both have 2 bottom teeth
• Lots of baby talk... mostly Dadddaaddaa and Bababbaaba
• A lot of giggling... They love their big sister
• Starting to get some table food; cheerios, grated cheese, peas, corn and they love baby cookies.
• Both girls have enough hair now for a little pony tail on top (they look like Pebbles)
• And they got to have their first pony rides at Big Sisters Birthday Party

 9 Month Stats:
Kinley - Weight: 16.2 pounds, Height 27 inches
Brooklyn - Weight: 15 pounds, Height 26 inches
